Simple Two-Color Nail Art

Simple two-color nail art.

 This design is a great one to start out with if you are not experienced.  you can use these basics for more intricate designs.  You can either use this on your real nails or on fake ones like the picture above shows you.

1. First you want to pick out two coordinating colors and put on a coat of the lighter color and give it time to dry.
2. Next you find a piece of durable tape and put it on your nail where you want to split up the colors.  For example, you can do it in a diagonal like the picture above, or straight up and down.
3. Then you put a coat of the darker color over the light color.  Apply as many coats as you need so the under color does not show.
4. Let them dry and enjoy!!
